In My Bathroom: Amy Serrano’s Golden Hour Makeup
Photographers often plan their entire day around the small window of perfect light known as Golden hour. For around an hour after sunrise, and an hour before sunset, the sun’s rays become warm, soft, and wonderfully flattering on the skin. A subject’s imperfections are diffused, shadows softened, and everything is draped in a velvety glow that radiates from low in the sky. Also known as Magic Hour, the dreamy pinks and golds that dance across one’s complexion are eternally inspiring for content creator Amy Serrano, so when she invited Rose Inc. into her bathroom for a visit, she called upon the phenomenon for tutorial inspiration.
Using layers of shimmery shadow and washes of rose gold and pink, the final look is universally flattering and incredibly wearable—no matter the time of day.
